The guest house "Lit de Senne" is located on a quite street in the historical centre of Brussels, close to the fashionable Saint-Géry neighbourhood and only 500 meters from the world famous Grand Place.
The neighbourhood forms part of the ancient three river islands of the Senne (now running under the city of Brussels). From this spot you could see the island of Saint-Géry, named in memory of the Bishop of Cambrai, who had built a chapel here around the year AD 580.
This is also the place where the first castel was constructed marking the birth of the city of Brussels in the tenth century.
Nowadays the Saint-Gery neighbourhood is full of fashionable terrace-cafés (the highest number per square meter in Brussels...). You can easily find restaurants, stylish shops and cultural centres !

From Brussels south (Charleroi) airport
From Charleroi airport, catch a shuttle bus to Brussels. Buses every 30 min.13 €
After about 50 min, get off at Brussels midi sation.
From Brussels midi station
Catch the underground tram (T) 3,32,33 or 4 in direction of Brussels north or Esplanade.
2 stops after, get off at Anneessens.
Take the exit Place Fontainas.

From Brussels international airport (BRU)
From Brussels international airport, catch a direct train to Brussels down town.
Get off at Gare centrale (central station).
From there, depending on your luggages, you can catch a taxi (less than 10 € ) or go by foot ( 900 meters/3000 ft ).

Where should you park ?
The easiest is to come directly at the Guest house first. Then, Fabien will join you to park your car in a private parking place, 200 meters far away.
